Cebu Pacific (CEB), the low fare leader in the Philippines entered the market on March 1996 and pioneered the “low fare, great value” strategy in the local aviation industry. CEB launched its International Operations on November 2001 and now fly to Bangkok, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Incheon, Pusan, Taipei and very soon to Shanghai, Xiamen, Guangzhou, and Macau. CEB now operates a fleet of 15 Airbus (10 A319 and 5 A320) and 2 ATR 72-100 aircraft, the youngest fleet in the Philippines with a fleet age of 1.7 years. With the completion of its re-fleeting, CEB has doubled its capacity.
CEB continues to offer the ‘Go’ fares - providing the lowest year-round fares in all its domestic and international destinations. CEB remains to be the pioneer in creative pricing strategies as it manages to offer the lowest fare in every route it operates. The ‘Go’ fares are not promotional and are exclusive of surcharges and government tax.
CEB, the leader in innovation and creativity in the local aviation industry, is the first local airline to introduce E-ticketing and TxtCEB (booking through SMS) in the country.
