About the new Boeing 757Last December 15, 2001 Cebu Pacific welcomed the newest member of its family, the Boeing 757. Read on and learn more about this impressive airplane, famous for its excellent record in passenger approval and service reliability. Space and ComfortA lot could be said about the Boeing 757's spacious interior. The Boeing 757 –200 is a large single-aisle airplane that offers ample personal space. The size of this aircraft makes it possible to accommodate seating arrangements that are both comfortable and spacious. Capable of carrying more than two hundred passengers, Cebu Pacific's plane will have only 179 seats in a two class configuration -- to provide better comfort and space to its passengers. Said Mr. Lance Gokongwei, Cebu Pacific President and CEO “We chose the Boeing 757-200 because of several reasons…among these are passenger comfort and aircraft reliability.” Bill Oberlin, Boeing Sales Director for the Philippines adds, “Passengers receive a first class ride regardless of where they sit on the 757.” Ready and ReliableFor total passenger convenience, the 757's dispatch reliability is exceptional. This means passengers leave on time and arrive at their destinations as scheduled. “We take our on-time performance very seriously and we're quite proud of our record,” said Gokongwei. “This is another reason why we opted for the B757.” No to NoisePassengers sensitive to noise will definitely appreciate the 757's quiet ride. Highly efficient engines combined with advanced wing design make the 757 one of the quietest planes in the world. And, since its noise level falls even below the current restrictions, travelers can always expect a truly relaxing flight onboard this jetliner. “The unmatched passenger-preference, reliability, and quiet operation of the 757…offer passengers superior comfort to their destination,” says Oberlin. |
