Cebu Pacific slashes fares

Manila, Philippines -- Cebu Pacific Air (CEB) is now offering special reduced rates for its Manila – Cebu and Manila – Kalibo routes starting January 20, 2004.

“For certain flights from Manila to Cebu and Kalibo, we have the PROMO VALUE FARES, which are more than 35 percent lower than value fare,” said CEB GM Bong Mojica. “In addition, we also have the SMART PURCHASE FARES for all other flights, which are 16 percent less than value fares.”

Promo Value Fares include P1,499 one way, Cebu–Manila daily flights at 7PM and 9PM and the Cebu–Manila flight every Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday at 3AM.

The rest of the Cebu–Manila and Manila–Kalibo flights are pegged at P2,149 under the Smart Purchase Fares.

“Smart Purchase Fares are also being offered for other Manila-based flights, as well as flights between Cebu–Davao and Cebu–Iloilo,” said Mojica. “Both the Promo Value and Smart Purchase Fares are effective until March 25, 2004.”

Averaging at 38 percent market share for the month of December, CEB is ready to fly its 11 millionth revenue passenger a month before the airline turns eight years old. The airline continues to maintain its 95 plus percent on-time performance.
