Cebu Pacific Flies to Tagbilaran

To meet growing market demand, Cebu Pacific (CEB) is adding another route to its domestic service: four weekly flights between Manila and Tagbilaran starting on April 28, 2004. The Manila–Tagbilaran flights are scheduled every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, leaving Manila at 7 a.m. and Tagbilaran at 8:55 a.m.

The Manila-Tagbilaran service comes at a time when summer travel is at its peak. Tagbilaran is the gateway to many tourist destinations in Bohol and its neighboring provinces. Points of interest in the area include the famous Chocolate Hills, the breeding ground of the rare Tarsiers, and the powdery white sands of the beaches in Panglao.

This new service brings to 13 the number of domestic destinations CEB services. The airline, a unit of JG Summit, flies from two hubs: Manila and Cebu. The Cebu hub services points between Visayas and Mindanao cities plus Palawan, allowing passengers the convenience of bypassing Manila for travel within the region. It flies also to Hongkong, South Korea and China.

The airline is known for on-time service, setting a standard in the local industry for punctuality that is at par with global standards.
