CEB launches E-Ticket in RXS, KLO

Cebu Pacific Air (CEB) has made E-Ticket available to travelers flying between Manila – Roxas City - Manila, and Manila – Kalibo - Manila.

Said CEB GM Danilo “Bong” Mojica. “By last quarter 2004, all our major domestic destinations will make use of E-Ticket.”

Presently, E-Ticket is being used for flights between Manila and the following destinations: Cebu, Iloilo, Davao, Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro, Tacloban, Butuan and Zamboanga.

According to Mojica, E-Ticket’s “ticket anytime, anywhere” concept will definitely make traveling easier for people. “Customers have more choices in booking and paying for their flight. They can go to a ticket office or transact and pay by phone, fax, email, or a phone banking facility.”

Added convenience is provided by Equitable-PCIBank, which has recently tied-up with CEB for E-Ticket.

“Equitable-PCI’s clients can easily book and pay for their flights, wherever they are,” said Mojica. “Passengers can choose to pay for their E-Ticket through Equitable PCI’s Fastphone, which is a phone banking facility, Fasteller, its ATM, or Fastnet, which is through the internet.”

The airline will issue them, in place of the usual ticket, a transaction receipt through fax, email or the internet, or over the counter. A lost receipt can easily be replaced by CEB, unlike the present physical ticket.

Passengers in Roxas City can purchase their E-Tickets from Jonar Resources, Legaspi Ilawod St . Those in Kalibo can visit Jonar Resources located in Toting Reyes St. for their E-Ticket requirements.
