Cebu Pacific flies Davao and Cebu to Bacolod for only P99

Cebu Pacific (CEB) will fly Cebu-Bacolod and Davao-Bacolod (via Cebu) for a seat sale of only P99 starting October 2, 2006.

The daily flight is scheduled to leave Davao at 6:30am to arrive in Cebu at 7:25am and leave Cebu for Bacolod at 7:55am. Consequently the flight arrives in Bacolod at 8:30am. The return flight departs from Bacolod at 9am to arrive in Cebu at 9:35am and leaves Cebu at 10:05am to arrive in Davao at 11am.

Candice Iyog, CEB marketing director, said that the reinstatement of its Cebu-Bacolod and Davao-Bacolod service is part of the airline’s thrust to strengthen local tourism in the country. “By creating more connections within our islands, we will be able to develop more business linkages and spur domestic travel.”

CEB will introduce the connecting routes with a seat sale of only P99 for one-way travel. The sale runs from August 16 to 22 for travel from October 2 to 25, 2006. After the seat sale, the year-round 'Go' fares start at only P568 for Cebu-Bacolod and P868 for Davao-Bacolod for one-way travel. The 'Go' fares are exclusive of regular surcharges and government tax.

"As we move forward with our expansion program, we are glad to offer the Cebuanos and Davaeños the comfort and option of traveling to Bacolod with the lowest fares. We believe that with our connecting flights and low fares, we will be able to stimulate travel because we believe that it's time every Juan flies,” Iyog said

The quickest way to grab the promo and the lowest ‘Go’ fare is through CEB’s website (cebupacificair.com).

The airline recently announced that it will also start flying to Hong Kong direct from Cebu and from Davao (via Cebu) on October 2, 2006.

CEB has the youngest fleet in the Philippines and one of the youngest in Asia as it operates 11 brand new Airbus aircraft. The airline awaits the delivery of three more Airbus aircraft until early 2007 to complete its $670 million re-fleeting program.

Now in its 11th year, CEB pioneered low fares in the country in March 1996. It also introduced travelers to on-time service, e-ticketing and on-line booking, setting the standards for airline innovation in the local aviation industry.
