Cebu Pacific now flying to General Santos
Cebu Pacific (CEB) adds another route to its domestic service with its daily service between Manila and General Santos City starting today, October 2, 2006.
The Manila-General Santos service departs Manila at 1:30pm arriving in General Santos at 3:15pm, and leaves General Santos at 3:45pm to arrive back in Manila at 5:30pm.
Candice Iyog, CEB’s marketing director, said that their Manila-General Santos service will further strengthen local tourism in the country. “We are committed to make air travel within the country more affordable and convenient to both local and international travelers. Thus, as we unveil our latest domestic route, we are confident that our year round low fare offering will help boost local tourism in General Santos as well as its nearby provinces,” Iyog said.
The Manila – General Santos route will be serviced by the CEB’s brand-new Airbus A319 aircraft with a 150-seating capacity.
CEB’s regular ‘Go’ fares to General Santos start at P868 one-way, The ‘Go’ fares are exclusive of regular taxes and surcharges. The fastest way to avail of the biggest discounts is to book early through CEB’s website (www.cebupacificair.com).
General Santos is CEB’s 19th domestic destination. The airline operates more than 500 flights a week for the domestic market and also flies to Hong Kong, Singapore and Seoul, South Korea.
Now in its 11th year, CEB pioneered low fares in the country in March 1996. It also introduced travelers to on-time service, e-ticketing, and on-line booking, setting the standards for airline innovation in the local aviation industry.
