Cebu Pacific’s Kuala Lumpur seat sale for only P999

Cebu Pacific (CEB), the country’s low-fare leader offers a seat sale to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for only P999 one-way. Sale period is from November 14-20, 2006 and is good for travel from November 30, 2006 to January 31, 2007.

CEB will start flying to Kuala Lumpur on November 30, 2006, and is the only Filipino carrier that offers a direct service between Manila and Kuala Lumpur.

Candice Iyog, CEB marketing director, said that the Kuala Lumpur seat sale is meant to further encourage travel for this new regional route. “Part of our aggressive expansion both in the domestic and regional markets is stimulation of travel by offering never before seen low fares. This is our commitment to further develop the tourism industry in the Philippines and wherever CEB operates,” Iyog said.

After the seat sale the lowest year-round ‘Go’ fare to Kuala Lumpur starts at P1499 one-way. CEB’s fare is almost 90% less than the lowest fare from Manila to Kuala Lumpur. The promo and year-round ‘Go’ fares are exclusive of surcharges and government tax.

Iyog added that the best way to grab seats for the promo is through their website (cebupacificair.com).

In addition, CEB has an ongoing sale for its Manila-Laoag and Cebu-Bacolod routes for only P99 one-way. The travel period for the Manila-Laoag sale is until December 15, 2006, while the travel period for the Cebu-Bacolod sale is until December 31, 2006. Lowest year-round ‘Go’ fares for Manila-Laoag and Cebu-Bacolod starts at P288 one-way.

Now in its 11th year, CEB has the newest fleet in the Philippines and one of the newest in Asia as it operates 12 brand new Airbus aircraft to its 20 domestic and 6 regional destinations. The airline awaits the delivery of two more Airbus aircraft in early 2007 to complete its $670 million re-fleeting program.
