Cebu Pacific doubles capacity to Dumaguete
Cebu Pacific (CEB), the country’s low fare leader and leading domestic airline, will add a second daily frequency to its Manila-Dumaguete service beginning February 14, 2007
The additional daily A319 Manila-Dumaguete service is scheduled to depart from Manila at 7:10am, arriving in Dumaguete at 8:25am; the flight then departs from Dumaguete at 8:55am and arrives back in Manila at 10:10am.
“The additional frequency will double our capacity to Dumaguete and allow CEB to offer more options for travelers to and from Dumaguete. This will also mean that we will be able to offer more low fares to the public, especially to those who have not been to the many tourist attractions of Dumaguete and the surrounding islands,” Candice Iyog, CEB marketing director said.
The airline has extended its system-wide seat sale offer of only P98 for all domestic routes and P999 for all regional destinations from December 6 to 12. All quoted fares are for one-way travel only. The promo is good for travel from January 1 to March 31, 2007. The seat sale fares are exclusive of surcharges, government tax.
“We hope that people will take advantage of the seat sale and visit the many destinations the Philippines has to offer and since we start our second frequency on February 14, maybe its not too early to buy tickets for Valentine’s day too,” Iyog added.
The quickest way to avail of the seat sale is through CEB’s website (cebupacificair.com).
Now in its 11th year, CEB has the newest fleet in the Philippines and one of the newest in Asia, with a fleet age of less than 10 months, as it operates 12 brand new Airbus aircraft to its 20 domestic and 7 regional destinations to include Bangkok starting on December 14 and Jakarta on January 31, 2007. The airline awaits the delivery of two more Airbus aircraft in early 2007 to complete its $670 million re-fleeting program.
