Cebu Pacific adds flights from Zamboanga to Cebu and Davao; offers 99 peso sale
Cebu Pacific (CEB), the country’s low fare leader and leading domestic carrier increases Zamboanga-Cebu flights from four times to five times weekly; Zamboanga-Davao flights from three times to five times weekly starting February 21, 2007.
CEB is offering a 99 peso seat sale for the Zamboanga-Cebu and Zamboanga-Davao services. Selling period for the 99 peso seat sale will be from February 2 to 8 and is good for travel from February 21 to March 31, 2007.
The Zamboanga-Cebu additional service is scheduled to operate on a Saturday and departs from Zamboanga at 2:25pm, arriving in Cebu 3:20pm. The Cebu-Zamboanga service departs from Cebu at 1:00pm and arrives in Zamboanga at 1:55pm.
Meanwhile, the Zamboanga-Davao additional services are scheduled to operate Tuesdays and Thursdays. The flight departs from Zamboanga at 8:05am, arriving in Davao at 9:00am. The Davao-Zamboanga service departs from Davao at 9:30am, arriving in Zamboanga at 10:25am.
“We are effectively increasing our Zamboanga-Cebu capacity by 25% and Zamboanga-Davao capacity by 67% to further boost inter-island travel and provide more options for both business travelers and tourists. The additional flights will also mean that there will be more low fares available for everyone.” said Candice Iyog, CEB marketing director.
The 99 peso one-way fare is for immediate payment upon booking and is exclusive of surcharges and government tax.
“CEB’s increase in capacity for Zamboanga is a show of support and confidence in region’s growth and potential. By doing this, we hope to stimulate more travel between Zamboanga and other key provinces,” she added
After the seat sale, the lowest ‘Go’ fare for the Zamboanga-Cebu and Zamboanga-Davao service starts from P568 one-way. The best way to avail of the seat sale and the ‘Go’ fares is through CEB’s website (cebupacificair.com).
Now in its 11th year, CEB has the youngest fleet in the Philippines with a fleet age of less than a year, and one of the youngest in Asia, as it operates 13 brand new Airbus aircraft to its 20 domestic and 7 international destinations. CEB awaits the delivery of one more Airbus aircraft next month to complete its $670 million re-fleeting program.
