Cebu Pacific offers 999 seat sale for International destinations

Cebu Pacific (CEB), the country’s low fare leader has started its international summer seat sale, offering a P999 one-way fare for most of its Asian routes.

This sale, which covers Manila-Singapore, Cebu-Singapore, Manila-Bangkok, Manila-Jakarta and Manila-Kuala Lumpur, will run from February 7 to February 13, 2007. Travel period is from February 21 to May 31, 2007.

Candice Iyog, CEB marketing director said, “since this is for immediate payment upon booking, the best way to grab the promo is via CEB’s website, www.cebupacificair.com. It’s fast and easy to book flights and pay fares online.” She added that the P999 fare is for one-way travel only, is non-refundable and is exclusive of regular surcharges and government tax.

Iyog said that the sale is meant to jumpstart the summer season. “We are very excited for the many Filipinos who will be able to avail of these fares, and maybe fly to our international destinations for the first time. This is part of CEB’s efforts to stimulate the market and grow the tourism industry with the lowest fares possible. It has always been CEB’s mission to bring flying closer to more Filipinos.”

The P999 sale is available for limited seats on the following international services: daily flights between Manila and Singapore; six-times weekly flights between Cebu and Singapore; four-times weekly flights between Manila and Bangkok; thrice-weekly flights between Manila and Jakarta; and four-times weekly flights between Manila and Kuala Lumpur.

“We encourage everyone to act quickly because we expect seats to sell-out fast at these very low fares,” Iyog emphasized.

In addition to this international seat sale, CEB is gearing up for this year’s summer season by opening new domestic, inter-island routes namely thrice-weekly flights between Cebu and Puerto Princesa starting February 22, as well as four-times weekly flights between Cebu and Kalibo, beginning March 7.

“With these new services, CEB is now the biggest airline operator in Cebu, in terms of offering the most frequencies, destinations, routes and flights out of Cebu,” said Iyog.

Now in its 11th year, CEB has the newest fleet in the Philippines, and one of the newest in Asia as it operates 13 brand new Airbus aircraft to its 20 domestic and 7 international destinations. The airline awaits the delivery of one more Airbus aircraft in March 2007 to complete its $670 million re-fleeting program.
