CEB offers Cebu-Puerto Princesa; Cebu-Kalibo for 99 pesos

Cebu Pacific (CEB), the country’s low fare leader and leading domestic airline is launching direct services from Cebu to Puerto Princesa and to Kalibo with a 99 peso seat sale. The seat sale will run from February 7-13 and is good for travel until March 31, 2007

The Cebu-Puerto Princesa service is scheduled to operate every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The flight departs from Cebu at 10:15am, arriving in Puerto Princesa at 11:30am. The flight leaves Puerto Princesa at 12:00 noon and arrives in Cebu at 1:15pm. CEB starts operating this direct service on February 22.

The Cebu-Kalibo direct service is scheduled to operate every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The flight departs from Cebu at 1:00pm, arriving in Kalibo at 1:45pm. The flight leaves Kalibo at 2:15 pm and arrives in Cebu at 3:00pm. CEB starts operating this service on March 7.

“We hope that these new direct services will encourage inter-island travel for both our local and foreign tourists. We’ve now made it more convenient and affordable for people to visit as many Philippine islands as possible. This is part of our commitment to further develop the tourism industry and improve the economies of wherever CEB operates,” Candice Iyog, CEB marketing director said.

After the seat sale, the lowest year-round ‘Go’ fare for the Cebu-Puerto Princesa service starts from P688 while the Cebu-Kalibo service starts from P568 one-way. The seat sale and year-round ‘Go’ fares are exclusive of surcharges and government tax.

Aside from the seat sale on the new services, the 99 peso seat sale is also available for the Cebu-Davao service. CEB is also running a seat sale for the Cebu-Singapore service for 999 pesos one-way. The Cebu-Singapore sale will run from February 7-13 and is good for travel from February 21 to May 31, 2007.

“With these new services, CEB is now the biggest airline operating in Cebu in terms of offering the most frequencies, destinations, routes and flights out of Cebu. We hope that this further strengthens Cebu’s position in the region not only as a primary holiday destination but also as a center for trade and commerce.” Iyog said.

Iyog added that the best way to grab seats for the seat sale is through their website (www.cebupacificair.com)

Now in its 11th year, CEB has the youngest fleet in the Philippines with a fleet age of less than a year, and one of the youngest in Asia, as it operates 13 brand new Airbus aircraft to its 20 domestic and 7 international destinations. CEB awaits the delivery of one more Airbus aircraft next month to complete its $670 million re-fleeting program.
