Cebu Pacific increases summer frequency to Bangkok by 75%
Cebu Pacific (CEB), the Philippines’ leading domestic carrier and low fare leader, will fly to Bangkok, Thailand daily, from April 13 to July 16. CEB started its four times weekly Manila-Bangkok service last December 14, 2006.
CEB’s Manila-Bangkok service leaves Manila at 10:45pm, arriving in Bangkok at 12:50am the following day and departs from Bangkok at 1:35am and arrives in Manila at 5:40am. The additional service will be operated on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays.
“We are looking forward to operating a permanent daily service for our Bangkok operation because we’ve seen very strong loads for this service since we started operation. We feel that this is a market that can be grown further with our low fare offering. The move for daily flights for the summer will also mean that we will be able to provide more low fares to our passengers,” said Candice Iyog, CEB VP for Marketing and Product.
“We’ve now made it more affordable for people to visit the Philippines and Thailand. Our daily Manila-Bangkok offering will stir ease and convenience in business trading with two of Southeast Asia’s shopping hubs and provide tourists the opportunity to enjoy the relaxing vacation getaways in both countries.” Iyog added.
The lowest ‘Go’ fare to Bangkok starts from P2,999 one-way. ‘Go’ fares are exclusive of surcharges and government tax. The best way to buy tickets is though CEB’s website (cebupacificair.com).
Now in its 12th year, CEB has the youngest fleet in the Philippines with a fleet age of less than a year. CEB operates 14 brand new Airbus aircraft to its 20 domestic and soon to be 8 international destinations with the addition of Taipei, Taiwan on June 13, 2007.
