Cebu Pacific brings back P99 & P999 seat sale for summer

Cebu Pacific (CEB), the country’s low fare leader and leading domestic airline offers P999 seats one-way, for most of its Asian routes, and P99 seats one-way for selected domestic routes. The summer seat sale will run from March 30 to April 5, 2007.

The P999 international seat sale includes Manila–Singapore, Manila–Bangkok, Manila–Kuala Lumpur, Manila–Jakarta, Cebu–Hong Kong, Cebu–Singapore, Davao – Hong Kong and Davao–Singapore. Travel period is from May 1 – July 15, 2007.

Selected domestic routes are also on sale at P99, namely, Cebu–Puerto Princesa, Cebu–Kalibo, Cebu–Clark, Cebu–Zamboanga, and Davao– Zamboanga. Travel period is from April 23 – July 15, 2007.

“We hope that many people will take advantage of these low fares and travel to the neighboring Asian countries to visit friends and relatives. More importantly, we hope to be able to encourage tourist arrivals with these low fares as well. This is our way of continuing to support the country’s tourism agenda,” Candice Iyog, VP for marketing and product said.

Iyog explained that the seat sale will further stimulate summer travel. “With this offering, many people will be able to afford air travel even during the summer season. This is part of CEB’s commitment to bring air travel closer to more Filipinos.”

She further explained that the seat sale fare is non-refundable and is exclusive of government taxes and surcharges.

Now in its 12th year, CEB has the youngest fleet in the Philippines with a fleet age of less than a year. CEB operates 14 brand new Airbus aircraft to its 20 domestic and soon to be 8 international destinations.
