Cebu Pacific now flies daily to Bangkok

Cebu Pacific (CEB), the country’s leading domestic airline and low fare leader, will fly to Bangkok, Thailand daily beginning April 13, 2007. After a recent announcement for daily Manila–Bangkok flights from April 13 to July 16, CEB has now been granted the permanent permit to operate the daily flights year round starting April 13, 2007.

This is equivalent to a 75% increase in frequency to CEB’s service to and from Bangkok.

The Manila-Bangkok service departs from Manila at 10:45pm, arriving in Bangkok at 12:50am the following day. The return flight leaves Bangkok at 1:35am and arrives in Manila at 5:40am.

“We are very happy that we’ve been given the opportunity to operate a permanent daily service for our Bangkok service. We’ve witnessed high passenger loads for this service since we started our operations last December. And we’re very glad that we will be able to provide more low fares to our passengers,” said Candice Iyog, CEB VP for Marketing and Product.

“With CEB’s Manila–Bangkok daily service, we’ve made it more affordable for people to visit the Philippines and Thailand. Our daily service will definitely provide more convenience for both business and leisure sectors as guests can enjoy both countries’ shopping centers and relaxing vacation havens.” Iyog added.

The lowest ‘Go’ fare to Bangkok starts from P2,999 one-way. ‘Go’ fares are exclusive of surcharges and government tax. The best way to buy tickets is though CEB’s website www.cebupacificair.com.

Now in its 12th year, CEB has the youngest fleet in the Philippines at just one year. CEB operates 14 brand new Airbus aircraft to its 20 domestic and soon to be 8 international destinations with the addition of Taipei beginning June 13, 2007.
