Cebu Pacific offers P1 seat sale for Manila–Legaspi and increases capacity
JG Summit Holdings Inc. airline business unit, Cebu Pacific (CEB), will grow its Manila–Legaspi offering from a daily service to a ten-times weekly service beginning September 21, 2007.
The additional flights will translate to an increase in capacity by more than 42%.
The Manila - Legaspi flights are marked down with a special fare offering of P1 one-way from September 4-10, 2007. This may be availed for travel from September 21 to December 15, 2007. The seat sale is non-refundable and is exclusive of government taxes and applicable surcharges.
The additional flights are scheduled to operate using CEB’s 150-seater A319 aircraft every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. The flight leaves Manila at 7:10am and lands in Legaspi at 8:05am. The return flight departs from Legaspi at 8:35am and arrives in Manila at 9:30am.
Candice Iyog, CEB Vice President for Marketing and Product explained that the additional flights to Legaspi is a key to make the Bicol region more accessible to both business and leisure travelers.
Iyog added, “We would like to stimulate economic activities in Legaspi and its neighboring provinces through increased domestic tourism. With the additional capacity to this destination, we can offer more low fares and further make people spend less on air travel and more in their visit to Legaspi.”
After the seat sale, the lowest ‘Go’ fare to Legaspi starts from P98 one-way. "We encourage everyone to act fast and take advantage of this opportunity to visit Legaspi and its neighboring provinces. The best way to avail tickets is through CEB's website, www.cebupacificair.com." Iyog concluded.
Now in its twelfth year, CEB has the youngest fleet of aircraft in the Philippines. CEB operates 14 Airbus aircraft to its 20 domestic and soon to be 12 international destinations with the addition of Shanghai, Xiamen, Guangzhou, and Macau starting next week.
