Cebu Pacific offers direct Cebu-Butuan flights for only P1

Budget carrier Cebu Pacific (CEB) will start flying a direct service from Cebu to Butuan starting November 19, 2007 with a special introductory seat sale of P1 one-way.

The seat sale will run from October 31 to November 6, 2007 and may be availed for travel from November 19, 2007 to January 31, 2008. The one-way fare is exclusive of government taxes and applicable surcharges.  The promotional seat sale is non-refundable.

The three times weekly Cebu-Butuan A319 service is scheduled to operate every Monday, Wednesday and Friday and departs from Cebu at 5:20am, arriving in Butuan at 6:05am. The flight leaves Butuan at 6:35am and lands in Cebu at 7:20am.

Candice Iyog, CEB VP for marketing and product said, “We are happy that with our very low fares, visitors and local residents of Cebu can now easily travel to Butuan and its neighboring islands. The introduction of the Cebu-Butuan service is a continued manifestation of our steadfast commitment to bringing air travel closer to more Filipinos.”

“We hope that the public will take advantage of the seat sale.  We would also like to encourage first time flyers from both Cebu and Butuan to experience the convenience of air travel between these two progressive cities,” she explained.

After the seat sale, the lowest ‘Go’ fare for the Cebu-Butuan service starts from P288 one-way. The best way to purchase tickets is through CEB’s website (www.cebupacificair.com), though this is also available through CEB ticket offices and accredited travel agents.

Now in its 12th year, CEB has the youngest fleet of aircraft in the Philippines. CEB flies to 12 international and soon to be 21 domestic destinations with the addition of Boracay beginning February 29, 2008.
