Cebu Pacific offers P1 seats for Cebu-Bacolod and Manila-Laoag
Gokongwei-owned budget carrier, Cebu Pacific (CEB), offers P1 seats for both Cebu-Bacolod and Manila-Laoag services.
The seat sale will run from November 13, 2007 to February 29, 2008, and is good for travel for the same period. Fare is non-refundable and exclusive of applicable surcharges and government taxes. There are more than 20,000 seats available for this promotional sale.
Candice Iyog, CEB spokesperson said, “We want people to realize how affordable it is to travel by air and we hope to motivate bus and ferry passengers, to take advantage of this extended seat sale to experience flying for the first time. “
Comparatively, Iyog expalined that the all-in one-way fare, inclusive of taxes and surcharges, from Manila to Laoag would cost a little over P950 while a ten-hour air-conditioned bus ride would cost almost P720.
Meanwhile, Cebu-Bacolod ticket, inclusive of taxes and surcharges, would cost less than P900 while the fourteen-hour Cebu-Bacolod ferry via Iloilo would cost P1,400.
“CEB provides an affordable, faster and more convenient travel experience for its passengers,” Iyog stated.
She added that booking online thru www.cebupacificair.com is much faster and more convenient since guests can view their flight schedules and fare options.
Now in its 12th year, CEB has the youngest fleet of aircraft in the Philippines. CEB flies to 12 international and soon to be 21 domestic destinations with the addition of Boracay (Caticlan) beginning February 29, 2008.
