CEB makes 2012 travel affordable with all-domestic, Greater China seat sale

P88 seats for all domestic flights, as low as P688 for Greater China flights

The Philippines’ largest national flag carrier, Cebu Pacific (PSE:CEB) holds an all-domestic and Greater China seat sale up to December 15, 2011 or until seats last, to boost travel in the 1st quarter of 2012.

For travel from January 10 to February 29, 2012, CEB offers P88 seats to all its 34 domestic destinations: Bacolod, Boracay (Caticlan), Busuanga (Coron), Butuan, Calbayog, Cagayan de Oro, Catarman, Cauayan (Isabela), Cebu, Clark, Cotabato, Davao, Dipolog, Dumaguete, General Santos, Iloilo, Kalibo, Legaspi, Laoag, Manila, Naga, Ozamiz, Pagadian, Puerto Princesa, Roxas, San Jose (Mindoro), Siargao, Surigao, Tacloban, Tagbilaran, Tawi-Tawi, Tuguegarao, Virac and Zamboanga.

Meanwhile, for travel from February 1 to April 30, 2012, CEB offers P688 seats from Clark to Macau or Hong Kong, P888 seats from Manila or Cebu to Hong Kong, and P1,088 seats from Manila to Macau.

Passengers can also buy P1,488 seats from Manila to Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai or Taipei.

“Guests may choose among CEB’s extensive route network in the Philippines for their leisure weekend or business travels. Holidays from January to February 2012 include Chinese New Year on January 23, and the EDSA Revolution Anniversary on February 25,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.

“These seat sale fares translate to airfare savings as much as 63%, especially on flights to mainland China. We hope passengers will continue to take advantage of CEB’s seat sales when planning their bookings for 2012,” she added.

The airline also offers free web check-in service with free seat selection, from 48 hours up to 4 hours before all Airbus flights. Passengers automatically get assigned a seat for free during the web check-in process through the Manage Bookings section in www.cebupacificair.com .

CEB currently operates 10 Airbus A319, 19 Airbus A320 and 8 ATR-72 500 aircraft. By the end of 2011, CEB will be operating a fleet of 37 aircraft – with an average age of less than 3.5 years – one of the youngest aircraft fleets in Asia. Between 2012 and 2021, Cebu Pacific will take delivery of 23 Airbus A320 and 30 Airbus A321neo aircraft orders, and 2 Airbus A320 aircraft on operating lease agreements.
