The Philippines’ largest national flag carrier, Cebu Pacific (PSE:CEB) offers a seat sale as low as P688 to seven destinations in Greater China and Taiwan. The seat sale is from February 28 to March 1, 2012 or until seats last, for travel from May 1 to July 31, 2012.
Passengers can buy P688 seats from Clark to Hong Kong or Macau, where the airline operates daily and thrice weekly flights, respectively.
They can also buy P1,088 seats from Kalibo (Boracay) to Hong Kong and from Manila to Xiamen, which are some of CEB’s newest international routes once they are launched on March 23, 2012. P1,088 seats are also available from Manila to Hong Kong, Macau, Taipei or Guangzhou; and from Cebu to Hong Kong.
P1,888 are also up for grabs from Manila to Beijing or Shanghai. After the seat sale, the lowest year-round Lite Fare for these two routes is P3,999. CEB flies four times weekly from Manila to Beijing, and daily from Manila to Shanghai.
“CEB operates approximately 160 weekly flights between the Philippines and Greater China and Taiwan. We will continue to offer our trademark low fares and provide easy accessibility so more Chinese and Taiwanese tourists can explore the Philippines’ top beach and leisure destinations,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.
“With the upcoming launch of Hong Kong-Kalibo services, CEB joins the tourism stakeholders in Boracay and Kalibo in promoting this beach destination to passengers from Hong Kong and Southern China,” she said.
Meanwhile, passengers can also buy select domestic seats for travel from April 1 to June 30, 2012.
This includes P188 seats from Cagayan de Oro to Davao or Iloilo; from Cebu to Kalibo, Iloilo, Ozamiz, Tacloban, Dumaguete, or Bacolod; and, from Zamboanga to Tawi-Tawi.
P288 seats are also available from Davao to Zamboanga, and from Cebu to Butuan, Clark, Dipolog, General Santos, Legazpi, Pagadian, Puerto Princesa, Siargao, Surigao or Zamboanga.
Iyog added that CEB offers free web check-in service with free seat selection, from 48 hours up to 4 hours before all Airbus flights. Passengers automatically get assigned a seat for free during the web check-in process through the Manage Bookings section in the CEB website.
