The Philippines’ largest national flag carrier, Cebu Pacific (PSE:CEB) aims to boost travel to Kota Kinabalu, the capital city of Sabah, Malaysia by offering a seat sale as low as P488. CEB is the only airline with direct flights to Kota Kinabalu from Manila, not Clark which is approximately two hours away.
The seat sale is from May 10 to 13, 2012 or until seats last, for travel from May 1 to August 31, 2012.
“Kota Kinabalu is a destination for thrill-seekers, mountain climbers, honeymooners, nature lovers and more. We encourage everyone to book any of our thrice weekly flights and plan their travels using www.sabahtourism.com as their reference,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.
Other international flights on sale for the same travel period are flights from Clark to Bangkok (P888), and from Manila to Bangkok or Kuala Lumpur (P1,488).
Meanwhile, domestic seats are also up for grabs for travel from May 1-31, 2012.
Passengers can buy P288 seats from Cebu to Kalibo, Bacolod, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Clark, Dumaguete, Dipolog, General Santos, Iloilo, Legazpi, Ozamiz, Pagadian, Puerto Princesa, Siargao, Surigao, Tacloban or Zamboanga.
P288 seats are also available from Cagayan de Oro to Davao or Iloilo, or from Zamboanga to Davao or Tawi-Tawi.
Those coming from Manila to Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cotabato, Dipolog, General Santos, Ozamiz, Pagadian or Zamboanga or vice versa can buy P888 seats.
Iyog added that CEB offers free web check-in service with free seat selection, from 48 hours up to 4 hours before all Airbus flights. Passengers automatically get assigned a seat for free during the web check-in process through the Manage Bookings section in the CEB website.
